For over forty years, we have provided a level of
care that is a step above that offered at other
comparable facilities. We provide long-term,
convalescent (30-90 days), and respite care (1-30
days).
Our nurses are well-trained and have been a part
of our family for many years. We do not have the
kind of staff turn-over you might find in another
facility of similar size.
We offer continuous social services and activities
for our residents. We can assist in securing a broad
range of psychological services, daily individualized
activities, and restorative care. We have exercise
classes, range of motion activities and one of the
most beautiful campuses for walking and strolling in
the country.
We offer occupational, physical and speech
therapy services. Our local physician's clinic
provides rounds on-site weekly and medical care is
available 24 hours a day from doctors and
specialists via the Community Medical Center of
Izard County, located here in Calico Rock.
Our semi-private and private rooms offer
comfort as well as skilled nursing and rehabilitative
care. Each room may have telephone access.
Personal items from home are always allowed.
Our transportation services include a van
equipped with wheelchair lift which offers
comfortable, safe transportation to and from
appointments.
The churches of our community provide weekly
church services on-site and our local school
children visit frequently in special programs.
Food services design menus to meet a variety of
tastes including many home-made choices.
Individuals may make changes to the menus to
accommodate their dietary needs.
A local beautician provides full-service beauty
needs every week in our on-site beauty shop.
